Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is an Irish model and actress. Her debut in a feature film was a small role on her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Later, she portrayed Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donavan played the role in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in the year 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was invited by a photographer, and started to take on the role of model. Doody then began to build a career of commercial modelling. Doody was adamantly against glamour and nude work a clause which allowed her to pursue an acting career. After catching the eye of the casting director for an upcoming James Bond movie, she took a part of A View to a Kill in the role of Jenny Flex. Doody made an appearance in John Willis Screen World Volume 2. She was one of twelve promising new actors for 1986. 38. Doody had just turned age 18 at the time she was cast in the character of Bond girl. Doody is the youngest Bond girl to date. Another film from her early days had her in a minor role as IRA member Siobhan Donovan on A Prayer for the Dying (1987) in which she starred Mickey Rourke. Doody played Archibald Craven's wife Lilias, in his dream in 1987's television adaptation The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 was her first appearance in the main part in the film Sapsorrow as well as John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. In 1988, she appeared with Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable performance to date was her role as Austrian Nazi sympathiser and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody acted with Sean Connery, who played Indy's father. Doody was a co-star in the year 1991 alongside Jonathan Pryce opposite the British mini-series Selling Hitler, which was in the spirit of a publication scam named the Hitler Diaries. She subsequently relocated to Hollywood. The choice was made to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokesperson for L'Oreal She went on to play opposite Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II in the role of Flannery the agent's girlfriend. Doody was part of The 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony for an award. Doody's roles include an appearance in a TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004, a booklet about the Holocaust, and an animated short called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody had a minor role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). The following year, she had been scheduled scheduled to play the lead role in The Asphyx remake, but this project did not go ahead. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. She also appeared on the show in 2014 as We Still Kill the Old Way. She was given the Almeria tierra de cinema award on 21 November 2018.
