Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6, 1988. She is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the CEO and founder of contracting company, Stone Contracting. She is of Swedish, German and British Isles descent. Stone started acting in her early years as a Valley Youth Theatre member in Phoenix, Arizona. She made her stage debut in Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows." Through her teens, Stone was a part of numerous productions until she decided to make acting her career. According to the official account, she developed a PowerPoint presentation, backed up by Madonna's "Hollywood" and itself entitled "Project Hollywood", in attempts to persuade parents to allow her to drop out of school and move to Los Angeles. The mother and daughter made the pitch and moved to LA. The schooling she had taken was done at home, and she spent her time performing auditions. Her TV debut came when she was cast as Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). This resulted in a number of small TV roles over the years. After a string of successes in the role, her appearance as Olive in Easy A (2010) was her first film role. She was a student at Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. Although she's a redhead the hair color that is natural to her hair is blonde. Judd Apatow suggested that she change her hair color to fit the style of Superbad (2007). She was so impressed, she decided to keep the color. At the age of 15, she convinced her parents she could go to Hollywood. She did this by creating a PowerPoint presentation entitled Project Hollywood. She began acting at the age of 11 years old and was a part of Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here she performed on more than 16 stages. She also took part in the theatre's comedy improv group. Caylee Cowan also appeared at the Valley Youth Theatre.
